Been thinking about how the cards vrs. art need to be split up. I think the cards that appear 4 times each should all be done by the same or at least similar artists to give the deck a universal feel. The 22 unique cards could easily be by 22 different artists.

Just back from meeting with Colin. He had a great suggestion that instead of a Timeline I could have used a Gamut Chart, (gotta look up the spelling of that). It’s one of those timelines where you have multiple aspects of the project parallel to each other. Example: Project Process Diagram (PDF file, 25k)

He agreed with Goose that getting original art for the cards should be a priority.

We also talked about my Patent Search and agreed that I probably wouldn’t be able to get a very valuable utility patent. Now I need to read up on Design Patents and see what they can give me that wouldn’t be covered by my Copyright.

I put together a description of the Card Art Project for Goose and I to shop around. Hopefully we can find a Div II student who is a fantasy artist and in need of a community service project.

Mailed in my Copyright today for the rules and the board. Also ran into Goose and set up a regular meeting time, 2:30pm Wednesdays.

Harry Potter Casting Stones. Blah. Prior Art. My patent looks to be getting narrower and narrower. I’ll finish my research, but looks like I’m going to have to just Copyright and go.
